Rosalee Cares is a family-centered nonprofit dedicated to supporting underserved mothers, pregnant teens, and senior adults through postpartum care, caregiver support, community resources and workforce empowerment. We exist to fill the gaps that families often experience after birth or during the aging process — the period when support is needed most and most overlooked.
Our work focuses on building healthy families, strengthening community wellness, and nurturing caregivers so no one faces these seasons alone.
To provide compassionate care, education, and community-based support for postpartum mothers, teenage and underserved parents, and older adults — improving quality of life, reducing preventable complications, and creating pathways to sustainable support.
A world where maternal health disparities are reduced, caregivers are supported emotionally and practically, and families have access to the education, advocacy and care they need to thrive.
The families we serve often experience:
• Limited postpartum support after hospital discharge
• Lack of access to maternal mental health resources
• Overwhelmed caregivers without relief or guidance
• Seniors facing isolation and reduced quality of life
• Systems that are stretched thin, leaving families unsupported
When families do not receive care during these transitions, outcomes decline — but with the right support, thrive.
Rosalee Cares bridges this gap with hands-on care, mentorship, community programs, and workforce pathways that strengthen family stability and wellness.
Rosalee Cares was born from a deep belief that healing and caregiving require community. Inspired by lived experience supporting postpartum families and caregivers, our founder Rosalee Henry has dedicated more than two decades to maternal health, postpartum care, caregiver support, and community wellness.
From working hands-on with mothers and newborns to training caregivers and doulas, Rosalee witnessed firsthand how support changes outcomes. Now, through Rosalee Cares, this mission extends into the wider community—ensuring families receive the care they deserve regardless of income, age, or circumstance.
We work at the intersection of maternal health, senior care, and workforce advancement.
Our services include:
• Postpartum and newborn education support
• Teen and underserved mother navigation programs
• Elder support and caregiver respite services
• Mental health screening and community referrals
• Workforce training for doulas and caregivers
• Community outreach, workshops and resource connection
Our goal is to strengthen families today while training tomorrow’s care workforce.
